How to Change Permission of Magento Root folder

Open Putty with your default Username & Copy – Paste the below Script in it. 

#Permission changed of html folder

sudo adduser <username> www-data
sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www
sudo chmod -R g+rwX /var/www
restart after it
